Description

Looking for a way to make your listings stand out? Zillow 3D Home® tours are a free, easy and effective way to help you boost your listings and win more clients.

In fact, listings with a 3D Home tour got twice as many views and sold, on average, 10% faster than listings without.
- Free and easy to use: Unlike some other virtual tour options, the app is free, easy for anyone to use and a great way to let people tour and experience a home virtually.
- Stand out: Listings with a 3D Home tour get specialized placement on Zillow and are supported by dedicated emails to prospective buyers.
- Reach more buyers & renters: Your 3D Home tour is automatically posted on Zillow and Trulia. You can also share your tours anywhere, including your website, the MLS and social media.

For iPhone
Use your iPhone® camera (iPhone 7 or higher required) or connect a supported 360° camera (Ricoh Theta SC2, Theta V, Theta Z1 or Theta X) to capture panoramas on your phone, then let the app automatically build your tour.

For iPad or iPod touch
Use your iPad® or iPod touch® device (iPad 6 or higher required) to edit, publish and share your 3D Home tours, as well as connect with a supported 360° camera (Ricoh Theta SC2, Theta V, Theta Z1, or Theta X) to capture panoramas.

Coming along, but useful

Using the app is pretty intuitive but there are a number of quirks that still need refining, like not being able to reposition the image orientation in post-production, having to set a timer if you walk too far away from a camera, and not always having the app recognize your location. The biggest one is not having control over which 360 images Zillow adds to the listing previews. Otherwise, feels like it’s getting better and is worth using!

Hi O'Levis. Thank you so much for your feedback. We appreciate your ideas. We are constantly testing and iterating on our product and will take your ideas under advisement.

Horrible. Won’t connect with listing

The app is easy to use. Very easy. However, Zillow is more often than not unable to match the tour with the listing. Zero of the dozens of Zillow tours that I have uploaded have connected the way they are supposed to. Every single time I upload a Zillow tour, I have to contact Zillow support to have them assign the tour to the correct address. Even when I copy the address from the live listing, Zillow can’t automatically match it up the way it is supposed to. And, sometimes it takes several days and even up to a couple of weeks for support to match the tour to the listing.
Email support with Zillow is next to nonexistent, so that makes linking these tours to the right listing almost impossible. Good luck because most of my clients now hate using Zillow because of this very reason.

Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly iterating and optimizing the address association features. We apologize for not having provided a stellar experience. We have informed the email support team and are looking into the issue of response times.

They aren’t progressing

This app was hard to deal with from the very beginning. It’s almost like they didn’t want to beta test before launching. Now those bugs are out, but here is why my rating is low...

1) I had to buy a used ipad because they don’t support Samsung even though Samsung is the most popular phone brand at 20% of the market and apple only at 14.

2) the user can’t edit paths when the tour is complete. Other apps allow me to edit the paths myself. Since Zillow doesn’t know where some rooms lead, you run into dead ends A LOT.

3) They aren’t improving these things, yet they also don’t allow you to embed 360 tours from other brands so you are stuck using a subpar app.

4) I have been using them since the start and had my “Zillow certification” status for 3 or 4 years. even though I am the same owner of a different company, I am forced to reapply for the cert again AND now instead of just uploading videos, they changed their rules to require 360 uploads. Why require something when people sometimes prefer not to use your app for it?

The only reason I use this app is because about half of my agents want these tours on Zillow as well

Hi MedicLamb, thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We appreciate to hear from you.
And we have good news, you can edit paths (we call them arrows) - find more information here: https://www.zillow.com/marketing/your-3d-home-dashboard/ . We are sorry you had a subpar experience with your certification - please reach out to 3dhome@zillowgroup.com, we will be happy to be of assistance.
