Zinc is a video bookmarking service. Bookmark videos from around the web using our Safari extensions for desktop and iPhone, or our bookmarklet for Chrome and Firefox. Watch them later with our apps for iPhone or Apple TV.

Maybe you’re trying to work, and don’t want to get distracted by the video your co-worker just sent you. Maybe you’re on the bus and would like to watch a video you just found later, when you can actually hear it and that weird guy isn’t breathing on you. Maybe you just want to treat yourself to watching internet classics like that panda sneezing video for the 42nd time in glorious 1080p on your brand new flat screen TV. Well, now you can.

If you've ever emailed yourself a link to a video, or dragged a video URL to your desktop, Zinc is here to make your life simpler. If you've ever woken up in the night with cold sweats muttering about that video you meant to search for when you got home, Zinc will help. If you've ever wanted to simply save a video to show your friends later, Zinc is for you.

Download the iOS Zinc app or visit our website at to create an account and download the Safari extension so you can save videos from your desktop.

Incredible idea

I love this app and the concept behind it is genius. I understand some of the lower reviews on this app, as it needs some work. I really hope this continues to develop and it doesn't lose momentum because of some poor reviews. My main request would just be playlists as this would immensely improve the experience, but also eventually I could see this turning into a cool social app for people's favorite videos

A little buggy, but amazing

A little buggy at times, but what a fantastic app. I love collecting videos throughout the day, then watching them all at once on the Apple TV. Suprised Apple didn't come up with something like this - seems like such an obvious, natural idea.

Great Concept, but Rarely Works

I love the concept of this app. I think of it as an Instapaper for video. When it works, it almost feels magical. Unfortunately, that isn't often. Sometimes when I click the Safari extension, nothing happens. Other times, it says Sorry, Can't Add Video. I get the same Sorry message when using the bookmarklet.

I'd love for this app to be something I can use regularly but it just isn't ready yet.
