Good but could be better

I’ve been liking Zipongo a lot more then I thought I would. I originally downloaded it through my employers health rewards app. The option to “favorite” and the “tap to add to grocery list” are great to help you organize. What I’d like to see in some upcoming updates is the ability to make “multiple cookbooks” where favorited recipes can be divided up e.g. already cooked cookbook, to try later cookbook, make in the upcoming week cookbook, so far and so forth. Another feature would be the option to filter by ingredients. I know you can set some dietary preferences but being able to choose which ingredients you want to use up in your fridge would be great. So you could filter ingredients based on having wheat bread and turkey and see which recipes come up that include 1 or both. Overall I’m really liking it and hoping you guys put out more updates in the future.

Really like this app

User friendly app, love that it has nutrition facts, love the categories they use to break down the recipes like heart-healthy or 30 min or less or I can barely cook (love that one). I think that is great. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t tell you if a recipe falls into more than one category like say your in breakfast & you choose a certain smoothie, I wish in info it said other categories the smoothie falls into like diabetic friendly or healthy. Otherwise very happy with it.

Skip this one

I downloaded this App because of some points thing at my work. You earn points by downloading the app, scrolling through the recipes, favoriting a recipe, etc. I scrolled through so many recipes and could not even find one to star. They all look and sound awful. The kid friendly section recommends salmon cake with olive and dill, and broccoli chowder, along with a plethora of other suggestions that my 8 year old would probably never touch. And I don’t blame him because they don’t look or sound good to me either. To make it worse, the pictures to go with the recipes are terrible and do not make anything look appetizing. Everything looks dry, like baby vomit, or like it was made in a factory. Seriously, take a look at the tutti frutti muesli, my dog puked the other day and it looked just like this. Being ‘food smart’ does not have to be this boring.
