Flawed with limited usefulness

This app does what it says and magnifies your screen, but only in a static and non moving image. If you are using the app to see a process bar or % complete gauge from a distance like I was hoping to use it for, it is completely usless. if that were possible with this app, it would be worth the upgrade price. As it stands now, I will be looking for other options.

Works Great

The low star rating in the reviews gave me pause, but then I noticed that most or all of the bad reviews were from a few years ago. It seems that whatever issues the app had before are now fixed. At first I couldn't figure out where the menu was, but then saw it in the bar at the top of the screen when you click the magnifying glass icon. Option Z opens the magnifier. Left clicking mouse closes the app. You can make the magnifier size smaller or larger by using shortcut "Option [" or "Option ]". Make the pixels smaller or larger by using "Option -" or "Option =". Very pleased to have this app! Thanks JINGWEI WAN !

Works fine once I figured it out

The keyboard shortcut is Option-Z, as shown in the menulet. You can increase the circular lens size and the magnifcation within from the keyboard or from the menu. I guess they fixed the problem earlier users reported about it only magnifying the desktop, it magnifies everything now. To get it to *stop* magnifying, click anywhere on the screen. You might need to restart your mac after installing, I initially had issues with it but now it's working fine. It has a Preferences menu but nothing happens when you choose that, I suspect it's there just for show (for Apple's UI guidelines).
