It’s hard to remember now, but there was a time, in the not-too-distant past, when people didn’t utter the phrase “go on mute” every single day. That’s just one of the ways Zoom has changed the landscape/society/fabric of space-time; what started as a videoconferencing app for business has become our go-to way (and word) for connecting with people in other places. Zoom’s meteoric rise came due to timing and circumstance, sure, but the app has met its moment with an elegant design, reliable performance, and constantly evolving features. But in the end, its real meaning is bigger: Zoom keeps us connected with each other.
The new update on the zoom app was supposed to improve the experience when using the app. But unfortunately, the new feature on the chat has made it very difficult to keep track of everyone that’s in the zoom meeting. The chat area has the “Everyone” button which kept track of participants and the order they entered the meeting. This was a great feature that helped us keep track and organize conversations, and participants.
Good morning zoom developer my name is Ulises Gomez. I totally love the zoom platform on iOS and windows. I’ve been using Zoom since the pandemic way back in 2020 and I still use Zoom to this day. I totally love the free version because I could become a host and I can make people as a host or a cohost however I am not paying $200 for Zoom. I guess that is way too much but I totally love the free version of Zoom. Keep up the great work Ulises a proud zoom customer and us.
An amazing way to do an interview, build confidence and communication skills.Learn how to better use device devices such as computer, iPad, etc. also, I just want to add to everyone that has a little of that post Covid syndrome(Anxiety or something similar that might prevent you from getting to the top) this is an excellent way to be present for LIFE if you have a disability or a family to support and take care of. I’m very glad that I chose zoom
For several weeks, when in gallery view with four participants, on iPad, the bottom two pictures randomly switch from left to right. This is true for both of us in the group on iPad. The user on Samsung tablet has this but the left two pictures switch up and down. This makes it very difficult for us users who have issues with anxiety and eye issues. The user on a windows computer is not experiencing this issue.
I have hosted recovery meetings and never had a problem! The pandemic brought us some good ideas! The ability for someone like me, who has a chronic illness and is home entirely too much, to communicate live with others has been the greatest blessing in technology so far for me! I’ve made great friends on Zoom, I’ve facilitated recovery groups, had intensive therapy on Zoom, and I can’t say enough good things about it!
Today on my Iphone watching a presentation & continuous chatting was so distracting. A mute chat button would be great but where the full chat could be seen when a person wanted to. Someone said to put on fullscreen but i was but on my phone. Please help with this. Some folks just have to chat constantly & to me it is the same as someone talking in a room when there is a presentation. If i could mute chat, we could both be happy. If there’s something for that, I could not find it. Ty
