The value of Zora is in the ability to share things we find exceptionally cool or interesting. Being able to trade them, gift them, comment on each other’s work and contributions are all important additions that keep it from being a more sterile experience such as just walking through a gallery, limited to just observing.

Lots of interesting content, a lot of AI congestion but that's everywhere these days. Really cool concept, and they make it super easy to create tokens. For some reason though, videos take FOREVER to load, if they load at all. I found several intriguing musicians and graphic artists but as of yet haven't been able to actually watch their content. I know it's not a network issue, or a hardware issue, so hopefully the app just needs some debugging. I'd say it's definitely worth a look if you've got $5 to spare and want to find some cool art, and possibly make a lil cash in the process. Gonna stick with it for a bit to see if things improve.

Alas, ‘twas not a passing fad, the NFT, the treacherous project of ‘digitally minting’ art. For this devious technology has seeped into the art world in the shining form of Zora. An app proportion to deliver a social art network, with a catch! Why would one ever chose to embark on such an endeavor? I do not know, for NFTs are simply CO2 belching, digital beanie babies. The solace I find in the floppy stuffies cannot be matched in the cold, ever depreciating NFT. The true tragedy I present you is I was simply attempting to divest from the ever so parasitic Instagram only to find my self on a blockchain minting Depop for which I am very disappointed. If every blockchain feature and mention of it was removed the app it would harbor some talented artists and I may be tempted to actually use it as intended. Although it seems the NFT element is core to this project, and for those reasons I’m out.

It is bit confusing to read. If ETH is the minting token, why is there a Zora token? I like that they added usdc to fund and remove profit from floating coins like ETH. Liquidity is a bit confusing. Your creator coin seems not to be worth anything substantial enough to cash out, and it seems to only show you what your creator coin could be worth and not its actual worth. Also there seems to be a back door with Base wallets. I noticed that many weird token / coins that show up seem to be creator coins made on Zora some of them with names like “United States strategic oil reserve”, the are often less than 0.01 cent in the millions.
