Zyntria Play: Starfighter is a pure arcade space shooter built for players who love tension, skill, and the feeling of barely surviving one more wave. You control a single starfighter locked to the bottom of the screen. Above you looms a massive, rotating enemy cube—an alien war engine that never stops attacking. It launches fighters, rains debris, and fires devastating weapons in an effort to crush you. Every second you stay alive is earned. THIS IS NOT A POWER FANTASY Starfighter is about control under pressure. The rules are simple. The challenge is not. Enemies move faster. Fire patterns grow denser. The screen fills with threats. There are no safe moments, and mistakes are punished immediately. The longer you survive, the more intense the battle becomes. DESTROY THE CUBE Each level centers on one objective: destroy the enemy cube and eliminate everything it sends at you. A level only ends when: • The cube is fully destroyed • All remaining enemies are cleared Until then, the pressure never lets up. FOUR WEAPONS. LIMITED AMMO. REAL DECISIONS. Your ship carries four distinct weapons, each designed for a specific purpose: • Laser (W1) Fast, precise, and reliable. Your primary weapon for constant pressure and clean shots. • Missiles (W2) Heavy-hitting firepower that tears through defenses faster, but with limited ammo. • Nukes (W3) Devastating area weapons that can wipe out entire enemy clusters and cripple the cube—but you only get a few. Use them wisely. • Cluster Weapon (W4) A tactical crowd-control weapon that splits into multiple sub-munitions, perfect for overwhelming swarms. Ammo is scarce. Panic firing will end your run. Smart timing keeps you alive. ESCALATING DIFFICULTY Each new level raises the stakes: • More enemies • Faster projectiles • Aggressive attack patterns • Less room for error The cube adapts. The battlefield tightens. Survival demands focus and quick reactions. RETRO ARCADE SOUL, MODERN FEEL Starfighter takes inspiration from classic arcade shooters, but delivers a clean, modern presentation. Visual effects are sharp and readable. Explosions feel powerful. A driving space soundtrack keeps the tension high without overwhelming the action. HIGH SCORES & PROGRESSION Every run is tracked.
