Have a Ball

Let the good times roll in these colorful logic puzzles.

You’re hired…to work on the weirdest assembly line ever! In Factory Balls Go!, you create custom-painted orbs with only a picture for reference. Dunk spheres into cans of paint, adding hats, belts, and other gizmos to block color from reaching certain parts of the ball. Deduce the right order to paint, mask, and repaint for the perfect match. Now on to the next one!

What we love: The eureka moment. Need to make a ball that’s red on top and blue on the bottom? Dip it in red paint, snap on a hard hat to protect the top half, then dunk it in blue. Voilà! Every successful shipment feels like a hard-earned win.

Dip and cover just right to go from plain white to finished product.

Quick tip: Give yourself a hand! Attach an arm to one side of a ball and only half the ball will get dipped in paint, at an angle opposite to the arm. Placing arms on both sides will prevent the ball from being fully submerged in the can, adding a coat of color to just the lower third.

Meet the creator: Belgian solo developer Bart Bonte makes minimalist games like Leaving Home, Mister Antonio, and the colorful series that includes red (game) and green (game). The original Factory Balls launched as a browser game in 2007.
