Chris Hemsworth returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer in Thor: Love and Thunder—and he can help you get in superhero shape too with Centr 6, a powerful and easy-to-follow regimen in his health and fitness app, Centr.

The basics of Centr 6 are right in the name: a six-week program of six rounds of six exercises, to be completed six days a week. The workouts alternate between HIIT and strength training. The only equipment you’ll need is a set of dumbbells.

Centr 6 is led by Hemsworth’s personal trainers.

Centr 6 was inspired by the time Hemsworth spent training for his 2018 film 12 Strong, about the first Special Forces team deployed to Afghanistan after 9/11. While shooting, workouts had to be improvised, according to Hemsworth.

“We were in an old movie trailer in a remote desert in Albuquerque,” he says. “I had one set of dumbbells that I shared with my trainer, so we had to come up with a style of training that could be done anywhere with minimal equipment but was still effective and fun.”

Today, Hemsworth uses Centr 6 when preparing to play a soldier and the god of thunder alike. “This style of training is adaptable to any goal I need to achieve for a role, whether it’s bulking up, building lean mass, or increasing speed, agility, and endurance.”

For mere mortals, the program can put you on the path toward any fitness goal, from having Hemsworthian abs to simply leading a more active lifestyle.

Whatever your goal, Centr 6 will challenge you. But Hemsworth says the biggest hurdle is just showing up. “Hopefully Centr can prove that making a resolution to be healthier or fitter doesn’t have to be complicated, time-consuming, or expensive.”
