Me: A Kid’s Diary by Tinybop is an interactive journal where kids can express themselves through photos, drawings, audio recordings, and, of course, words.

Geared toward ages 6–8, the app guides children, step by step, on how to keep a diary, asking them to create their own avatars, draw cartoons, and answer quick questions about what they want to be when they grow up.

Using photos and colorful graphics, Me expands the idea of what a journal can be.

As kids progress, they’ll be asked to dive deeper and reflect on their feelings, their likes and dislikes, and their thoughts on their world. The idea is to encourage kids to keep a diary and develop a sense of self-awareness, empathy, and compassion while doing it.

Tinybop, which has several education apps on the App Store, designed Me as a safe space for children to learn more about themselves and the people around them. It’s a new kind of diary for a new age.
