Space Marshals 2

Stealth. Combat. Adventure.

View

The space marshals never slow down. Whether they’ve been ambushed by pirates or are chasing them on a remote world, they’re always cracking jokes and ready to roll.

It’s amazing how well this tactical shooter covers all the bases of a great action game. The futuristic Wild West art style looks terrific. Controls are rock-solid. And whether you’re on a spaceship or in a mining town, you’ll want to comb every inch of every finely detailed level. A breezy story ties it all together.

At the start of each mission, the camera zooms ahead to show you the opposition.

What’s the best way to clear out the crooks in each spot? You’re just one guy (specialist Burton), but you have options. Armed with guns and grenades, you could mount a head-on assault—pitting your reflexes against mobs of heavily armed baddies.

Stealth and strategy are often a better tack, though. Crouch-walk from cover to cover, then creep up behind foes without alerting their comrades. Feeling extra-sneaky? Throw rocks to misdirect guards, or reprogram defensive turrets to fire on their owners.

Fling a rock to distract the guy on the left so you can sneak up on the guy on the right. Easy!

If you’re itching for more, purchase the recently released Ava Mission Pack. In these additional levels, you play as a different character, Ava, whose unique gear (a remote-controlled drone and a riot gun that repels enemies) encourages you to be more strategic still. You’re up against tough odds right from the start—and it’s a blast.
