Before you misplace your newly minted gift cards, why not keep them in a safe place, like your iPhone? The Gyft app stores your plastic and emailed gift cards, so you’ll always have them with you when you’re out and about.
To load your gift cards into the app, simply search for the store or brand and enter the number on the card. You can then use Gyft to make both in-store and online purchases.
Once your cards are uploaded, you have the option of adding more money to them with Apple Pay, viewing your transaction history, or adding them to Apple Wallet for easy access.
You can also regift your cards (not that you would) or send new ones. Just choose a recipient from your contacts and schedule the date you want the card to arrive by email or text message. For a personal touch, include a note or selfie video.
