Let Them Come is aptly named, which you’ll quickly realize when your steely hero, Rock Gunar, starts battling waves of spiderlings, gorgers, and other creepy-crawly aliens. Action fans will have a blast unleashing the main weapon (a mounted machine gun), as well as everything from grenades and Molotovs to a whirring chain saw.
But this is more than a mindless shoot-’em-up. You’ll think strategically about what gear to invest in, using the cash you earn defeating enemies. Piercing ammo works wonders against armored beasties, for example, while a short-range hand cannon eliminates wasps that fly too close.
Smart tactics helps too. Target that burster in the crowd (he’ll take down other foes when he explodes), and always aim for a boss’s weak spots!
