What we love: The breathtaking sense of speed. Automated acceleration and braking lets you focus purely on steering to overtake opponents, or you can turn off the assists and white-knuckle through a more realistic experience. Want to crank up the intensity even higher? Switch to the in-cockpit camera view and keep your eyes on the road!
Quick tip: Drifting may look cool, but it can catastrophically drain your momentum. Brake evenly into turns, then accelerate as you navigate the bend. It’s less stylish, but more effective.
Meet the creator: Firemonkeys was born out of a merger between storied Australia-based developers Firemint and IronMonkey. The original Real Racing (released in 2009) featured only two licensed vehicles—a couple of Volkswagen GTIs. Real Racing 3 has more than 250 real-world cars in its virtual garage!
