In Impossible Road, you’ve got one goal—keep your giant ball on the road. Steer left. Steer right. And don’t fall off. That’s it.
Easy. Right?
Not so much.
The game, a minimalist hybrid of platformer and roller coaster, is determined to thwart your best efforts with an endless barrage of twists, turns, and unpredictable pathways.
It’s not fair. It’s completely infuriating. And we love it.
Here are a few tips to help you along:
1. Your position on the road is everything. Hug the inside corners around turns or when landing big jumps.
2. Not all mistakes are fatal. If you accidentally careen off the road, you might be able to bounce onto the unspooling path below to rack up easy points.
3. Don’t do that often. Shortcuts for extra points are fine to start off, but the best way to earn high scores is to stay on the road.
