5 Winning Candy Crush Combos

Tap for board-clearing moves every Candy Crusher should know.

Not all Candy Crush levels are created equal. While some you can breeze right through, others require serious strategy. These game-changing combos can help with that. Try committing them to memory to make the most of your every swipe.

Striped Candy + Color Bomb

Works in: Candy Crush Saga, Soda Saga, and Jelly Saga

Combining a striped candy and a color bomb turns all like-colored pieces on the board the same color and stripe-ifies them. If you’ve got a lot of candy pieces that match the color of your striped piece, this combo has the potential to clear most of the board for you.

It’s especially useful for clearing out tough-to-reach corners, like those found in the infamous level 65 of the original Candy Crush game.

Striped Candy + Wrapped Candy

Works in: Candy Crush Saga, Soda Saga, and Jelly Saga

These two pieces work together to clear a path three rows wide, both horizontally and vertically. Given how easy this one is to create, it’s an ideal way to break up chocolate, bubble gum, and other types of obstacles that keep replicating.

Coloring Candy + Wrapped Candy

Works in: Soda Saga and Jelly Saga

Swapping a coloring candy with a regular candy transforms all regular candies of the same color to match the coloring candy. Even better, it also causes those pieces to take on the form of the regular candy.

If you’re trying to break through obstacles that require you to hit them several times, create a wrapped candy next to a coloring candy to break through multiple layers in one move.

Candy Fish + Coloring Candy

Works in: Soda Saga and Jelly Saga

Candy fish only get rid of one candy at a time, but an army of them can do major damage. The same strategy of combining a coloring candy with a wrapped candy works with candy fish.

Fish are drawn to bottles and other objects hidden beneath the surface, so use this combo to reveal gummy bears and other treats.

Color Bomb + Color Bomb

Works in: Candy Crush Saga, Soda Saga, and Jelly Saga

Getting two color bombs next to each other isn’t an easy feat, but it’s possible. If you can pull this off, all candies clear off your board instantly and all obstacles lose a layer.

This one may be hard to line up, but it’s worth working toward if you get the chance, especially if you have a lot of bombs, licorice, or other single-hit obstacles in play.

Bonus Tip: Coloring Candy + Color Bomb

Works in: Soda Saga and Jelly Saga

This combo may appear to have the same effect as combining two color bombs, but it deals more damage to blockers by clearing multiple layers rather than just one.

If this opportunity presents itself, don’t miss it.
