Public transit can be a real mess. Luckily, we have you! It’s your job as as a newly hired intergalactic railway designer to help the commuting aliens get where they need to go in the surprisingly challenging Cosmic Express.
On each level, design a single train track to take travelers home. Easy enough—except the picky little aliens will only disembark when they reach the station that matches their color. A grid structure ensures you can’t fudge things and squeeze in an extra rail—and that the track can’t double back over itself.
Cosmic Express eases you in nicely. The first half-dozen levels are a cinch. Factor in the cutesy cartoon visuals and you might even wonder if it was designed for children.
It wasn’t. You’ll soon find levels that will leave you stumped. How can you get the blue robot to the lower right corner when the orange alien needs to ride all the way to the top left? Impossible! (It isn’t. We promise.)
To ensure your transit dreams don’t get stuck in gridlock, Cosmic Express uses a level map that branches out in a series of clusters. Can’t solve a particularly difficult puzzle? Simply move on to another. With dozens of levels at your disposal, there’s always a new track on the horizon.
