To become a superstar in Drift It!, you don’t need to be furious—but you definitely have to be fast. Razor-sharp reflexes are key to dominating this simple but exhilarating beat-the-clock racing game.
Each round dares you to reach the finish line within the time limit while racking up points for sliding around in controlled skids. Tap and hold to initiate a tire-squealing drift on a yellow section of the roadway, then release to straighten out. Rev and repeat.
Chaining together drifts sends your score multiplier soaring as the track throbs with neon hues and a robotic announcer’s voice marvels at your skill: “Epic! Monstrous! Legendary!” Split-second timing is crucial—go into a drift too soon or hold it for too long and your car blows up. Straighten out before your front wheels have left the marked zone and your multiplier resets (which is almost as painful as watching your ride go kaboom).
As you level up, you’ll earn cars that go faster, give you more time to reach the finish, and have better starting combo multipliers. Dozens upon dozens of unlockable parts—spoilers, wheels, paint jobs—will also boost your vehicle’s stats. But as exciting as collecting new rides and mods may be, the euphoria that comes with nailing one sizzling drift after another is the biggest rush of all.
