The personal-safety app Noonlight is there for you when you see something suspicious, have a bad feeling about a situation, or just want a little peace of mind until you’ve made it home.
Who it’s for: Those looking for an easy way to let others know they’re OK—or to alert the authorities when they’re not.
What sets it apart: Launch the app and press and hold Noonlight’s big blue button. When you safely reach your destination, enter a four-digit PIN and Noonlight will let your designated safety contacts know. If you release the button and don’t enter your PIN in 10 seconds, Noonlight will notify local emergency responders and share your location. The app can also keep a timeline of your whereabouts.
Don’t miss: The app teamed up with Tinder, so you can share when, where, and who you’ll be meeting to your Noonlight timeline, right from the Tinder app. With a subscription, Noonlight can also alert emergency services if it detects you’ve been in a car accident.
