Save the seas with tentacled troops in the charming Squids Odyssey.

Squids Odyssey

View

In Squids Odyssey, a strange black ooze has infected the world’s oceans, turning our aquatic friends violent and evil. It’s up to you—and a squad of helpful squids—to rescue them.

The game plays a bit like pool, but with turn-based role-playing elements woven in. Instead of blasting balls down a table, you’re slingshotting squids across watery levels. Just pull back, aim, and let ’er rip to send one of your team members sliding around, collecting power-ups, and bashing any foes in its path.

Before hurling yourself at that crab, consider where you want him to end up.

Some enemies, like super-tough giant crabs, require multiple hits to defeat. But each squid’s unique special ability can level the playing field. Steev’s dash lets him move farther than his comrades, making him an ideal scout. Vahine heals friends, while Sammo stomps the ground, hitting nearby enemies.

Power-ups help too, recharging your squid’s health or giving it a few extra moves. Crack open oysters and use their glowing pearls to upgrade helmets and items.

Hats, headbands, and other accessories aren’t just cute; they boost crucial character stats.

The game’s challenges vary. Some levels send you hunting for treasure in mazes full of adversaries and deadly spikes; others are all-out brawls. Thrilling, not-for-the-meek survival levels pit you against endless hordes for a set number of rounds.

Of course, you and your powered-up pals should be able to handle pretty much anything Squids Odyssey throws at you. Just be careful with your aim—miss too many times and you’re calamari.
