Hidden Folks is, at heart, a hidden-object game, but one set in a doodly, animated world bursting with life.
Each level challenges you to find a series of people and objects that are hiding among the intricate artwork. Your search will be hands-on—uncovering Classy Jessy in a bustling campground, for example, might entail opening tents and checking under trees.
There’s more to Hidden Folks than its visuals. The game’s audio is just as amusing as its sketches—and often proves helpful. Can’t find a particular monster, even after reading the tip that he's watching everyone from a distance? Click and drag around the scene till you hear his adorable growls. There he is, behind that bush!
Though you can progress without finding every item listed (making it more appealing for low-key players than some hidden-object games), don’t be surprised if you find yourself hanging out awhile. It’s mesmerizing to watch the tiny people mill about, and sometimes your actions trigger a surprise: Raise a certain garage door to reveal a bunch of speakers and a dance party forms in the driveway.
