Goodnotes 6
Notes Reimagined.
With GoodNotes 5, note-taking doesn’t have to be boring. Create custom notebooks where you can type (or handwrite) brainstorms, highlight documents and PDFs, and create interactive presentations.
What we love: GoodNotes gives you total creative freedom. Customize your paper type (everything from school-style ruled notebooks to accounting ledgers and sheet-music staffs), type and draw on the same page, or share your work and use a laser pointer to call out your particularly brilliant thoughts.
Quick tip: On iPad, GoodNotes is even more powerful. Use your Apple Pencil to draw shapes—which the app automatically polishes up—or to jot down your next big idea. The app can recognize your handwriting (even when you can’t) and convert it to text.
Meet the creator: Launched in 2011 by Steven Chan, GoodNotes began as a simple note-taking app. With the unveiling of the Apple Pencil, Chan saw the potential to change what the world thought was possible with “paper,” and the app grew into a multifaceted idea-sharing platform.
