Women are warriors. Learn to move like one with Mighty, a self-defense and combat coach that was designed specifically with female fighters in mind.

The app lets you tailor the program to fit your needs. To start, simply select an option from a drop-down menu: improving fitness, preventing harassment, reducing fear when out and about, or strengthening your body.

Mighty is all about training that will make you feel safer.

Then input your combat skill level—total novice, intermediate, or experienced—as well as your fitness level. Unlike some workout programs, the tone is accessible and judgement-free. If you’re maybe a little out of shape, tap the “see no evil” monkey emoji. This is a safe space.

Based on your choices, the app will then present your own custom training regimen. Video tutorials are all led by female instructors, who will take you through the correct stances and poses. You can filter by body part—including core and full body—or by trending workouts, based on what the Mighty community is enjoying.

Short on time? Don’t worry—each workout is tagged with a time stamp so you know how long the session will take.
