GAME
OF THE
DAY
Subway Surfers
Join the endless running fun!
It all started with a can of spray paint. But little did Subway Surfers star Jake know that tagging an untouched train car back in 2012 would kick off one of the biggest games in App Store history.
Whether you outwit the authorities as the original lawbreaker or one of his many comrades, there’s one goal in this beloved infinite runner: run, jump, and, yes, surf down train tracks in some of the world’s greatest cities.
What we love: The spectacular sights. Subway Surfers travels to a new spot every month: One day you’re charging through Chicago; the next, you’re moseying through Mumbai. There’s no telling where this train is headed!
Quick tip: Swiping down while you’re airborne warps you back to the ground faster than letting gravity take its course. Use this move every time you leap off a ledge—a quicker landing often lets you nab coins and other goodies you’d otherwise blow right past. Score!
Meet the creator: SYBO Games has overseen Subway Surfers since the game’s launch. The current high score in their Copenhagen office is a whopping 8,256,390.
