Moody Month is a tracking app designed to help women better understand their cycles, moods, and emotions.

Start by creating a profile, adding information such as your cycle length, method of contraception, weight, date of birth, and levels of activity. This is the basis for a daily report that provides detailed information about your hormone levels and how these could be affecting your mood that day.

The app also indicates how the weather (and even the moon cycle!) could be taking their toll on you. View this information on a calendar interface as well.

Moody Month helps you map your emotions to the four stages of your menstrual cycle.

That’s all just the beginning. Use the app as a log to record Moody Moments. Indicate on a sliding scale how you feel about metrics such as sleep, money, relationship, and anxiety, or record a voice note with your iPhone’s microphone.

Return to your log whenever you want to see the big picture of how your physical and emotional moods fluctuate over time—and learn to predict and understand your triggers.
