Wondering whether the show you want to stream tonight is on Disney+, HBO Max, Peacock, Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, or Hulu? Or if your favorite team’s next game is on TNT or ESPN? Or where to find the latest movies?

Instead of bouncing among various apps to find out, launch just one: the Apple TV app. It lets you watch movies, TV series, live sports, and more from your favorite services, all in one place.*

And now it features amazing programs from Apple TV+, the streaming service with original shows and movies from award-winning talent including Jennifer Aniston, Octavia Spencer, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Sudeikis, Reese Witherspoon, and Alfre Woodard; plus storytellers and creators like Oprah Winfrey, Ron Moore, M. Night Shyamalan, and the makers of Sesame Street and Peanuts. You can get a year of Apple TV+ for free when you purchase a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac. Claim it in the Apple TV app.

* The latest version of the app is available now for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch (iOS 12.4 or later), Apple TV (tvOS 12.4), and Mac (macOS Catalina) in over 100 countries. The Apple TV app is also available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, and select Samsung, LG, Vizio, and Sony smart TVs—with more devices to come. Some features only available on select devices.

Know what’s up

At the top of the app’s Watch Now tab, you’ll see Up Next. This is where to find that episode of WandaVision you didn’t get a chance to finish—ready to pick up right where you left off—as well as any movies you bought or rented with the Apple TV app. And new episodes or seasons of a series you’re watching appear here at the front of your Up Next list the moment they become available.

Sports fans, take note: Head to the app’s Sports tab, scroll to the bottom, and tap to pick your favorite teams. Their next games will appear in Up Next automatically.

Find your channels

Apple TV channels are one of the handiest new features in the app. They make subscribing to Paramount+, Showtime, AMC+, and other services super-simple. Because you pay only for the channels you want, it’s like being able to create the TV bundle of your dreams.

A few of the great perks: When you subscribe to a channel, everything you watch is ad-free and can be downloaded for offline viewing. Share access with up to six family members automatically—no more having to remember and share passwords.

A dream for streaming

Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, ESPN+, Major League Baseball, Paramount+, and over 85 other streaming services seamlessly integrate with the Apple TV app. Not only can you browse and search their entire catalogs, you’ll see new episodes and seasons of shows you’re watching pop to the top of your Up Next queue the moment they’re released. You’ll see recommendations based on what you’ve watched and purchased—as well as picks curated by our editorial team of movie and TV lovers. Altogether, it’s a smooth experience that will help you discover your next favorite show, no matter where it’s available.

Top pay-TV providers like Charter Spectrum, AT&T TV, and PlayStation Vue integrate too (with more on the way), letting you enjoy all of their programming within the Apple TV app’s beautiful interface.

Search across services

Searching in the Apple TV app can help you determine the best way to watch what you want, when you want. Apple TV searches multiple apps and channels, plus the thousands of movies and TV shows you can buy or rent from the iTunes store, to let you know what your options are. Enter Soul, for example, and you’ll see it’s available to stream on Disney+ and to buy or rent, all in the Apple TV app.
