Sync Audio & Note-Taking

If you’ve ever tried to take notes while someone’s speaking, you know that capturing every word is impossible—unless it’s 1943 and you know shorthand. Even if you’ve recorded a lecture or interview, transcribing that recording is a monumental slog.

Noted solves both problems by letting you take notes while recording time-stamped audio, saving you tons of time.

When you hear something important, click the hashtag button; Noted will create an audio checkpoint (which the app calls a Time Tag) in the recording that you can refer back to without having to scrub through the entire session to find it.

Never again wonder what was said: Noted makes it easy to find the moment of audio that corresponds to a location in your notes.

Drop in a photo or attach related documents to a note and mark them up using macOS’s built-in tools. You can also import an existing recording (go to Note > Import Audio) to get all the same features as if you’d made the recording in the app.

And your notes and recordings sync across devices via iCloud, so you’ll always have that important lecture—and your notes from it—within reach.
