Declutter Your Pinterest Boards
Because sometimes your organizing apps need to be organized.
Home design, DIY, recipe ideas
Has your Pinterest gotten way too messy to handle? That goes against everything Pinterest stands for! Here are three good ways to speedily declutter your board situation:
The simplest way to straighten out your boards is to add Sections to them. Use this feature to, say, break down your Weddings board into Dresses, Flowers, and Viral Reception Dance Routines. (Think of it as adding files to a folder.) To add Sections, tap the plus sign at the top left of the screen.
Do you simply have too many boards? Try the Merge function. Go to a board, tap the pencil icon, and scroll down to Manage. It’s a good way to stick lots of pins in fewer places. (Just note that anyone following these boards will have to manually follow the new merged board.)
Archive (don’t call it delete)
If you no longer want to see ideas or recommendations based on a board—maybe you’ve discovered you’re terrible at woodworking or that your “newborn baby” is now 14—you can tap Archive Board to hide it from your profile. Don’t worry, it’s not as permanent as it sounds—you can always unarchive it later.
