Polarr: Photo Filters & Editor

Endless aesthetics and effects

View

Polarr is like two photo-editing apps in one: a starter kit for total beginners and a pro setup for seasoned photographers.

If you’re in the first group, the Express workspace offers easy-to-use tools for cropping, adjusting exposure, and adding filters.

For more advanced users, the Pro workspace introduces manual controls and tools like layers, curves, and masks.

Transform dull colors with a quick saturation boost.

Both workspaces provide access to Polarr’s arty filters, which include era-specific film styles (’90s Modern, ’30s Black & White) and those designed to enhance landscapes, food, and portraits.

To add drama, use the app’s Overlays and try a contemporary duotone effect or something more classic, like lens flares, dust, and scratches.

Pros will appreciate the ability to resize to a specific dimension; export to JPEG, PNG, and HEIF of varying sizes; and even add a custom watermark.

A subscription unlocks Polarr’s many features, including Overlays and Masks. The free version lets you preview many of the premium features before you subscribe.
