Rudolph is great and the Grinch is a must.

But for fans of holiday specials, there’s a world of lesser-known titles out there, shows that you might not remember but whose characters you definitely do. And helpfully, many of these titles can be found in Boomerang, which streams classic and new episodes of Tom and Jerry, The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, and Looney Tunes, plus a host of unique titles. Check out this list of festive specials that deserve a place on your holiday watch list:

A Flintstone Christmas

‣ Fred Flintstone as Santa Claus! Festive flying pterodactyls! And the revelation that not even a snow-covered Bedrock can make Barney and Fred wear shoes. If you prefer your holidays prehistoric, check out Flintstones Family Christmas and A Flintstones Christmas Carol.

Yogi’s First Christmas

‣ When you’re a bear, there’s one pretty big problem with Christmas: You’re probably hibernating through it. In this 1980 Christmas special, Yogi and Boo Boo, shaken out of their seasonal slumber by singers performing at the Jellystone Lodge, try to stay awake to see Christmas for the first time. Expect a lot of sleep-related jokes and bear-related feelings.

Christmas Comes to Pac-Land

‣ To get a sense of just how ubiquitous Pac-Man was in the early ’80s, look no further than this animated series, which pits Pac-Man and his family against a crew of fairly bumbling ghosts. The highlight of this amazing Christmas special is probably the snowball fight between the ghosts and the Pac-family, who, of course, just happen to stumble upon a secret stash of power pellets.

The Smurfs Christmas

‣ Of course there’s a Smurfs Christmas special, and of course it’s about a mysterious stranger who tries to deny the magic of the season to the tiny blue residents of Smurf Village, and of course Papa Smurf teaches the stranger the meaning of the season, and of course the theme song will be stuck in your head probably through New Year’s (as will “’Tis the Season to Be Smurfy”).

A Jetson Christmas Carol

‣ Proof that A Christmas Carol really is timeless. In this 1985 special, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future visit the grouchy and short Scrooge Spacely—but the Jetson family is on hand to make sure he gets a needed dose of futuristic holiday cheer.
