Solisquare

Solitaire's New Generation

View

There have been many variants of solitaire but never one quite like this.

Created and coded by 15-year-old Brayden Gogis, Solisquare starts with a 3x3 grid, in the center of which sit 52 cards. Your goal is to get rid of them by stacking one on top of another sequentially.

For instance, if there’s a five and a six somewhere in your grid, start stacking. But be careful—fill the grid with unmatchable cards and your number is up!

It’s easy to fall for Solisquare’s beautiful card designs and cool color palettes.

You’ll need smarts and luck to succeed. Should you put that five on top of the six, the six over the five? Depends how many other fives you think might be left in the deck. Counting cards is perfectly legal in Solisquare.

And even if you lose, you still win. With every game, you score points to spend on new decks, like the charming Vintage and the minimalist Helvetica.

Feeling confident? Take your game online with Battle mode, where you compete to be the first to clear your deck. If you’re looking for a bold take on a classic, Solisquare stacks up.
