Meet the creator: Cofounder Nick Daniels had the idea for Portal while camping in New Zealand. His brother, Tim Daniels, joined him in cofounding the app. “Growing up we’d always dreamt of running a business that would help people,” Tim says. “Here was that idea—capturing the natural outdoors to improve people’s lives.”
