Welcome to the races! Now how about some trophies? To crush Asphalt 9’s courses—or at least notch some first-place finishes—follow these five simple tips.
1. Go auto
Stick with TouchDrive controls early on, especially in single-player modes. Not having to steer lets you focus on learning the courses and mastering stunts.
2. Know your nitro
Using the right nitro at the right time keeps your meter full and your speed high. Yellow nitro (single-tap) works great on gentle curves or for small boosts at top speed. Save the shockwave nitro (double-tap when the bar is full) for when you need maximum kick, like rocketing up a steep hill.
3. Slip and slide
Doing stunts builds nitro, so get tricky! Drift around curves, soar off ramps, and knock out rivals with 360s. Watch for closely placed ramps that let you perform back-to-back barrel rolls!
4. Look under the hood
To stay ahead of the pack, prioritize most car upgrades in this order: acceleration, top speed, nitro, handling. Always chase blueprints to unlock better parts and cars with a higher star level.
5. Be reputable
Want reputation points? Take a break from Career mode and start racing through different events. (Finish in first to rack up RP!) To supercharge your rep, try multiplayer matches. The higher your league, the more rep you’ll earn.
