5 Quick Tips for Marvel Strike Force

MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG

Epic Super Hero Teams

With so many heroes, villains, and powers to play with, what’s the best way for Marvel Strike Force rookies to assemble a team that’ll make enemies flinch? Follow these simple tips.

1. Crush the campaigns

Replaying campaign missions is a great way to earn character shards and gear. And once you get three stars on a mission, you can replay it automatically! Tackle these scenarios ASAP to quickly build a dependable crew. (Bonus: Their plot points provide a fun backdrop for raids and event battles.)

Iron Fist’s healing power is a literal lifesaver for the Defenders.

2. Get defensive

Need a tough squad early in the game? Call on the Defenders! Easily obtainable from the arena and initial campaign missions, they synergize exceptionally well. And abilities like Jessica Jones’ energy boost and Luke Cage’s defense buff will bolster the entire team.

3. Plan ahead

When deciding who else to recruit, remember that ranking up certain characters is the only way to unlock vital legendaries down the line. Yondu is a smart starter pick: In addition to having a deadly Yaka Arrow attack, he’s required to recruit Star-Lord later on.

Yondu’s Yaka Arrow hits every foe—perfect for finishing off a weakened crew.

4. Stand strong

Always place squad members in spots that maximize their abilities. Having taunting protectors like Rhino on the outside, for instance, ensures that area-of-effect attacks hit them and just one adjacent character. Likewise, put characters who buff adjacent allies (like Mantis) next to those who’ll benefit most.

5. Go manual

Auto-playing battles on 3x speed saves time. But fighting manually is usually more effective when the rival squad is stronger than yours—or when you’ve got an uncommon (and non-synergized) team.
