Get COVID-19 Guidance
The Apple COVID-19 app has info and an interactive screening tool.
Health & Fitness
For up-to-date information on the coronavirus from the most trusted sources, the Apple COVID-19 app is a helpful tool.
The app was developed in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the White House, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Those concerned about whether they have contracted the virus can use the app’s screening tool. Answer a few questions about your symptoms, travel history, and recent contacts and the app will recommend specific next steps based on the CDC’s current guidelines.
You can also see guidance from your state’s health department and learn best practices for washing your hands, social distancing, quarantining, monitoring your symptoms, and disinfecting surfaces. And you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions about COVID-19, including who’s at risk of serious illness and how to recognize the symptoms.
The data you provide in the Apple COVID-19 app will not be shared with anyone, including Apple and the CDC, without your permission. The information will be stored and encrypted on your device with a passcode.
The Apple COVID-19 app was developed in partnership with the CDC. It is not meant as an endorsement of any Apple products.
