Fitia: Diet & Meal Planner
Calorie Counter & Recipes
We’ve all been there – life gets busy and our plans of eating healthily fall by the wayside. But there’s a simple solution that doesn’t take up too much of your time and also fits your fitness needs: follow a meal plan.
Nutrition app Fitia offers easy-to-follow guides on how to improve your food intake, and here’s how to get started.
Set your goals
As a first step, determine your fitness goal – do you want to reduce fat, maintain weight or build muscle? Next, on the app’s planner, pick the products you’d like to include from categories such as proteins, carbohydrates, fruits and fats. From there, choose when you want to start and how much time you want to spend working towards your goal.
Get on track
Based on your answers, Fitia will create a daily personalised food plan with a perfect balance of macro foods and fats. Log what you’ve eaten by tapping on each item, or remove a suggested nutriment by swiping left. If none of the meals fit into your day, you can have the app recalculate the entire menu, keeping the same amount of macronutrient and calories.
Add local flavour
Designed by and for Latin Americans, Fitia understands that food and tastes are local. The app has a database of more than 200,000 products, so you’re sure to find what you’re after at your local supermarket. Fitia also features your favourite Latin American recipes in your meal plan, satisfying your cravings for a Peruvian ceviche, a Colombian Paisa Tray or Veracruz–style fish.
Check the advances
Want to know if you’re making progress? Log your weight regularly in the app. Based on the amount and pattern of fluctuation, Fitia learns about your metabolism and recalibrates your plan as needed for better long-term results.
Fitia’s free version serves up a menu for each day. A subscription gives you access to a 30-day nutritional plan and generates a grocery list so you can plan your meals in advance.
