Crikey! Wallace and Gromit are back! For the first time in over a decade, the duo has returned to our screens for a brand-new original adventure in Wallace & Gromit: Big Fix Up.
Things are a little bit different this time. Creator Aardman has partnered with British developer Fictioneers and swapped stop motion for augmented reality (AR) to bring Wallace and Gromit to life on iPhone.
The story follows the pair as their latest business venture, Spick & Spanners, gains the contract of a lifetime from local millionaire (and pie magnate) Bernard Grubb. They’re tasked with fixing up the city of Bristol – the only problem is, it’s a bigger job than they anticipated, and they need you to help them out.
Through innovative story-driven AR, join the duo as their new employee and interact with life-size characters, cause chaos with Wallace’s inventions and bring the world of Wallace & Gromit to life in your home.
You’ll soon discover that Grubb has hidden political motives for hiring Wallace and Gromit, as live-action updates from journalist Clarissa Kent help you to uncover the truth.
Experience the story unfold in real time over 25 days, receiving updates from characters and taking on tasks – such as building ladders and installing Wallace’s prized Bun-Vac 6000 rabbit-catching contraption – as you go.
