Meet the creator: Lux Optics is a team of three friends—Sebastiaan de With, Ben Sandofsky, and Rebecca Slatkin—brought together by a passion for photography and great apps. “We like to think of the app as a real camera,” says de With. “It should feel satisfying, like the buttons on a real camera.” Because Halide uses no third-party libraries, the app collects no data, does not analyze photos, and sends no information to the developer.
