Meet the creator: Pieter Omvlee and Emanuel Sa created Sketch in 2011 from their home offices in the Netherlands and Portugal, respectively. The two didn’t meet in person until after the release of Sketch 2.0. Today’s much larger Sketch team spans the globe—helpful for continually improving the app’s remote-collaboration features.
