MathTango has a novel idea for teaching kids math: Mix it with monsters and space stations and deserted islands.
Designed for ages 5 to 10, MathTango has two worlds: MathTango Island (where kids can dive into addition and subtraction) and Starbase MathTango (for multiplication and division).
On MathTango Island, kids help lively Uncle Fibonacci by answering questions and completing puzzles. For every correct answer, a friendly monster named after a famous mathematician (like Isaac for Isaac Newton or Hopper for Grace Hopper) moves to the island.
On Starbase MathTango, Fibonacci is constructing a research center in deep space. Each multiplication and division puzzle that kids successfully complete teleports in a robot from across the galaxy.
If your child needs more (or less) practice in a certain subject, customize the app’s curriculum in the settings. Every kid may not love math, but they can have a little fun with it.
