Fun math practice kids games

View

MathTango has a novel idea for teaching kids math: Mix it with monsters and space stations and desert islands. Featuring over 500 math puzzles, the app will get your little creator thinking big while building their arithmetic smarts.

Who it’s for: Parents of kids ages 5–10 who want to reinforce math skills in a way that doesn’t feel like work. Amiable monsters and robots help kiddos practice multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.

MathTango’s interactive lands get kids hyped about learning math.

What sets it apart: The app’s colorful worlds, MathTango Island and Starbase MathTango, immediately draw learners in with engaging Daily Quests. Friendly Uncle Fibonacci leads players through each challenge until they’ve collected enough points to “buy” in-world features like dance floors, trampolines, jet packs, and soccer balls. The end result is a charming game that gets kids excited about learning.

Don’t miss: With the Monster Creator feature, every few monsters earned in MathTango can be completely customized. Parents can use the lesson plan wizard to mix and match exercises depending on where their child needs a little extra practice.

Meet the creator: Originator Inc. is an indie studio of five passionate parents dedicated to building delightful apps for kids. They named all 100 monsters in MathTango after famous mathematicians: “Isaac” after Sir Isaac Newton, “Hopper” after Grace Hopper, and “Hawking” after Stephen Hawking.
