HIGH-SCORE CHALLENGE

Wall Kickers

How high can you climb?

Wall Kickers

Wall jump to the top!

View

The sure-footed stars of Wall Kickers leap back and forth, twirling through the air to climb ever higher in search of…what, exactly? A trophy? A good view? A ball stuck on a really high branch? Who knows!

But what if this tricky action game actually had a point? And what if that point was to beat our best point total?

It takes a steady hand—and a few lucky breaks—to climb this high.

The challenge: Out-kick our high-score run of 158. There’s only one rule—no forking over coins for midgame continues. But feel free to use any character. (We chose Jumpy Monkey on the Jungle Jumps level.)

For a leg up, use these tips:

1. Take your time

There’s no countdown clock in Wall Kickers, so don’t rush your jumps, but do plan ahead. Your kicker will slowly slide down most walls.

2. Learn the surfaces

Different walls have unique properties. Purple ones automatically bounce you off, while stone walls crumble right after you touch them. Some walls crackle with electricity; others have rotating spikes. Familiarize yourself with each type before trying your high-score run.

3. Two steps forward, one kick back

Barely clear a jump only to find yourself stuck in a more precarious spot? Don’t fret! You can usually reposition yourself by jumping and flipping around a little. It might feel scary, but repositioning yourself can mean the difference between a lengthy ascent and a quick fall.
