What’s New
Version 4.2.3
This update brings the new Liquid Glass design in OS26 to Bonobo apps. In Flow, it means the interface fades back so your page is the focus. The menus feel lighter and more flexible, giving you more room to create.
• Floating top menu: The main menu now hovers above your page so your canvas fills the entire screen.
• Expanded Menu option: In "Interface Options" you can toggle "Show Expanded Menu" on or off. When it is on, buttons like "Layers", "Sharing", "Export" and "Import" are shown across the middle of the screen for quick access. When it is off, those buttons are available from the drop down menu at the top left of the screen.
• Liquid Glass design: Panels can now match your document’s Paper colour, switch to Black, or use Liquid Glass. With Liquid Glass the interface melts away even more as you see through it to your canvas. Adjust tint, frosting, and shadows in "Interface Options".
• Command Menu on iPad: Swipe down from the top of the screen to quickly access common features.
• Enhanced windowing on iPad: With OS26 you can now resize and position Flow windows more precisely for better multitasking.
And in case you missed it:
• Crayon tool: A new drawing tool that gives your lines a textured, hand-drawn feel. It is fun to sketch with and perfect for adding personality to your notes and illustrations. Find it at the bottom of the Tool Editor.
• Reference Images: Pin an image above your page as a temporary overlay for inspiration or notes. Use it to trace details, match proportions, or pull out colours. Drop in images from other apps or tap the Add button in the top menu. Flow will automatically show key colours from the image, which you can tap to use with your current tool or import to your palette.

You might know Moleskine for its world-famous notebooks: pages of creamy paper that feel amazing under your pen. Flow brings that experience to your iPhone and iPad.
Still the best
I’ve been using this app for years now, it is the only app that motivates me to come back, sketch and takes handwritten notes. It’s friendly for casual use and powerful for larger sketching projects.
There’s a lot of features that had been added but the interface is still clean and playful.
All strokes are well crafted but IMO is the only app that does the fountain pen good; it does not abuse on pressure sensitivity impact and does not try to “fix” the stroke (which bothers me from other apps)
Excited to see some goodies for Apple Pencil Pro users soon!

Hi. Thanks for your message, and we're sorry to hear that you didn't know that Flow requires payment. We certainly do not intend to mislead. There is a large section of the App Store description detailing the membership system - it is always a good idea to read the App Store description thoroughly in order to avoid disappointment. There are also full details of the various subscription options and their local prices listed alongside the App Store description. All apps on the App Store that are paid for by In-App Purchases (whether subscription or not) are listed as "Free", however, this means "Free to download", not to use.
Nevertheless, all Moleskine Studio apps come with a free trial so you can try them out before paying anything, with no obligation to continue if they don’t meet your needs. Please let us know if we can help further by sending an email to flow@moleskinestudio.com.
