What’s New
Version 12.0
Version 12.0 brings significant updates and new features to Luminos Pro. You can now explore up to one billion Gaia DR3 stars and discover newly added Wolf-Rayet stars. The Washington Double Star catalog has been updated to the November 2024 edition, and the exoplanet database includes nearly 2,000 new discoveries. Additionally, the ATNF Pulsar Catalog (psrcat) has been upgraded to version 2.5.1, and the General Catalog of Variable Stars (GCVS) has been updated to version 5.1.
Several fixes improve the app’s functionality. GCVS designations now consistently display the correct constellation, and notes load and save properly. "Beautiful Pairing" news items provide accurate rise and set times, and searching for "double double" now correctly locates Epsilon Lyra. Finally, habitable zone calculations have been enhanced, especially for M-class stars like Trappist-1.
