Owle - learn languages 9+

Learn English, German, Spanish efficiently and purposefully.
Engage statistics, your own imagery to words, listening, reading books and practicing book-related words.

If you want to understand and read a foreign language book or technical text fluently, focus on vocabulary that is relevant to the book.
Simply have an app analyze the book or text for the frequency of occurrence of each word and learn those words first.
This will allow you to understand more of the text more quickly, and you'll also move up in your foreign language skills more quickly.

The app will help you do this:

- Performs a statistical analysis of a specific text.
- Displays a list of words sorted by frequency with filtering and search options.
- Words are displayed including their translation into the foreign language and you can listen to the pronunciation of each word.
- A group of words or individual words can be included in your dictionaries, where you can choose which words you would like to learn.
- You can then practice individual words from your dictionary to learn using interval repetition and flashcards.
- Draw a clue to the word for when you can't remember - a custom shape or drawing will help you remember.

To get you started, there are public books available in the app that you can read, analyze and learn from.
As you read, individual words are color-coded so you can still keep track of which ones you already know and which ones are assigned for repetition and which ones aren't assigned anywhere yet. As you progressively add words, the text becomes structured and comes alive before your eyes.

The app currently allows you to learn the following languages:

Spanish
German

You can also add your own plain text books to the app and learn a foreign language from them

Ad cancellation - more space, less distractions
Ads will no longer appear when reading books and practicing

Offline mode - when the internet is not in range
Download books for offline reading and offline word storage in dictionaries with delayed refinement of translations once internet is available

Data sync and backup - Learn from anywhere and have your data stored in the cloud as a backup
The status of dictionaries and books will be synchronized via the created account to different Apple devices (iPhone, iPad)
