The Blaj AR application aims to give users of the app an overview of how Blaj fasteners are applied in specific sectors of industry and in which way the products add extra value to these sectors. This marker-based AR app highlights the use, specifications and characteristics of a selected number of fasteners, produced by Blaj fasteners, in the following sectors of industry; Shipbuilding, Railway, Energy, and Hydropower.
The Blaj AR application is a dedicated B2B application intended to support the Blaj fasteners marketing and sales team at fairs and events to visualize the products and their use in an immersive and novel way. Users of the app can choose between two languages when starting the application; English and German. The marker-based Blaj AR application utilizes branded marketing materials as a trigger to launch the Blaj augmented reality experience. Users will be able to see and click on representative 3d models of feats of engineering from these sectors, such as; a cruise liner, a hydro plant, a train, and a nuclear power plant. These feats of engineering can be viewed in an immersive augmented reality-driven manner. When a user clicks on the target user interface it deconstructs and shows the places where Blaj’s products are used, as well as the product itself and its specifications for that specific sector.
