Description
GaitMate is a research tool for collecting measures related to fall risk in older adults. You need to be part of the Stanford research study to access the app features. The purpose of the study is to build prediction models that can identify individuals more likely to fall. All data you enter into the app is stored in secure servers and accessible only to study investigators. Your identifiable data will not be shared with any other persons. Your participation in the study is completely voluntary and you can quit at any time.
We will allow users to opt-in and provide HealthKit data related to walking. These data will help us understand whether and how falls are related to patterns of activity in older adults.
