Description
Athens has been known since the late 1800s as a center for musical talent and has launched some of the world’s most well-known musicians and bands. Plaques on the new Athens Music Walk of Fame
(AMWF) will honor Athens’ world-renowned musicians and music scene, while expanding music tourism in Athens. Initially, we plan to install ten plaques, with two to four additional plaques added to the walk each year. This proposal includes a request for funding for two of the initial ten plaques, the design and initial printing of a brochure, and the development of an interactive app to enhance the Music Walk of Fame experience for visitors and keep them coming back.
