Verbalizing concepts and explaining material to others help students to reinforce ideas and improve their knowledge and retention. The more students repeat information, the stronger the memory and understanding will become. Group study offers the opportunity to hear information from others, too, which can serve students well.

Group study also allow students to receive varied viewpoints, insights and information as they discuss school subjects with their peers. That sharing creates an open discussion and enhances student's thinking.

Students who study together tend to share notes and other class materials, building and broadening their understanding of the subject. This wealth of knowledge sharing can mean they have more time to focus on concepts, and spend less time stuck on one idea that may have hung them up.

In the program, students form groups of three to solve problems in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

Motivation is provided to win virtual prizes by accumulating points each time they provide a correct solution.

Feedback is provided to teachers regarding questions missed by enabling printout of skills associated with incorrect answers.

Question scores reflect the difficulty of the questions attempted.
