Ratings and Reviews
Love the game
Beautiful concept great job devs
Just another aspect
The game is great both at the concept and how it was executing. Thus, no reason to tell you what other comments told you.
A lil reminder for free players: your character level up using an in-game resource called Mana. This resource can not be reliably harvested in game and buying with real money is the other option. You do find Mana at the end of every chapter but it is a one time reward. Thus, you cannot make your character stronger by grinding alone. This make progress about 4 times as hard as when you buy the Mana to level up.
Edit: At v1.2 you can now gain Mana by collecting chests and loots. Thus, you can still lvl up even if you can’t reach the end of chapter or buying Mana in the Shop. This ensures that the game is still challenging but you don’t need to have exceptional fast brain and hands to progress through the game. A reasonable update!
Edit 2: After playing for awhile, i believe the next thing you guys want to think about next is refining the companions bonus.
-Bonus such as adding more time and general attack damage, i rank as most used. More time means more expression solved and better damage means you finish the enemies faster.
-Bonus damage for a specific types of enemy and luck bonus is ranked next. The specific damage bonus is obviously weaker than general damage bonus so it self-explains. For the luck bonus, i myself don’t use it as much but it is interesting and some pp will surely find it more useful than i do because luck manipulate both evasion and critical attack. It is both defending and attacking purpose so it’s very useful but i just don’t think it is very reliable.
-The last thing on the list as being useful are bonus exp, bonus health and bonus healing. They are useful sometimes. Great players will use exp bonus to speed up but not me, i am not that confident. Bonus health and bonus healing in general are a big no for me. I truly do not expect a longer fight. Longer fight is more expression solving. I would rather choosing bonus damage and time to finish the enemies before they do me rather than prolonging the fight.
To sum up, everything are alright except you may want to have a look at the specific damage bonus, bonus health and bonus healing and change them somehow to create incentives for players to select them. Not that everyone will find those useless but the majority will not select those bonus.
