What's new: Expense your charging If you're linked to an organisation that lets you expense your charging, for example if you drive for work, you can now do it straight from the Pod Home app, just like you could in the Pod Point app. Go to Charging activity and tap a charge to expense it. Or select a few at once and claim them together, so you're not doing it one by one. Once you've expensed a charge, we'll flag it as sent to your organisation, so you always know what's been claimed.

What's new Got more than one vehicle on your account? The app will now let you choose which one's plugged in. If it's picked the wrong vehicle, just tap "Set as plugged in EV" and your charge schedule will update to match.

What's new: Export your charging activity Download a full report of your charging history from the app. Go to Charging activity, tap Export, and pick your dates. Your report includes: - When you plugged in, unplugged, and how long you charged for - What each charge cost you - How much came from solar and how much from the grid Driving for work? Add your mileage and we'll calculate your business mileage cost, making it one less thing to think about. Tap Send report and it'll land in your inbox.

Basic charging has moved to Manage in the bottom navigation. We've also added Always on, a new charging option alongside Schedule. Switch to Always on and your EV will start charging as soon as you plug in — no schedule needed. This is particularly useful if your energy supplier already manages when your EV charges — such as Intelligent Octopus Go or Ovo Charge Anytime — as it avoids any conflict with their scheduling. You can switch between the two at any time, and any saved schedules are kept safe.

Vehicle Personalisation - Give your car its own identity! You can now name your vehicle and choose the colour of your icon to represent it in the app. Solar Charging Breakdown - Got solar panels? Your charging activity now shows exactly how much of your charge came from the grid and how much came from your solar — so you can see the real impact of charging with the sun.

Get a clear forecast of your next planned charging window so there are no surprises Charging Priority — You now get to decide what matters most for each charge — saving money or completing your charge. Choose whether we aim for the lowest-cost charging times or focus on meeting your charging intent (like being ready by a certain time, with your desired battery level). Can’t find your car? You can now add it yourself. Not every vehicle appears in our database so we’ve made it easier than ever to get set up. If your vehicle isn’t listed, simply choose “My car isn’t listed” and add your details manually.
